You can't really see it from here, but the gian 70-ton support beam colums have begun to be put in place around the perimeter of One World Trade Center!! This will allow the to build the initial floors out. This is a huge milestone. My apartment overlooks ground zero, the site of the former World Trade Center in New York. Construction on a new tower is in progress. Every day, a photograph of the site is automatically taken and posted here. The pictures are combined into a stop-motion video every few months.
